While liquor stores are deemed “essential” business and wine and beer is easily available through grocery stores and even restaurant take-out, local wineries are struggling to stay afloat amid restricted operations and tasting room closures. The good news? Most North Georgia wineries offer online order with options for shipping or curbside pick-up, and many are currently offering shipping specials to get us – and them – through these unprecedented times. We’ve pulled together a list of local wineries offering online sales, as well as their most popular bottles for your tasting pleasure. Cheers! 

12 Spies Vineyards, Dillard

Online shipping available; free shipping with code 12SPIES. Curbside pickup also available. Most popular: Cabernet Sauvignon ($34), a bold red with flavors of mocha and blackberry on the finish.

Accent Cellars, Dahlonega

Offering shipping and curbside pick up; $5 gift card included with every bottle purchased; 2 bottle minimum for shipping–$15 flat rate shipping. Shipping and curbside pick up available. 10 percent off all wine purchases as long as operations are restricted. Website is not currently set up for online sales, but orders are accepted by phone. Also offering wine slushies to go for curbside pick up.

Crane Creek Vineyards, Young Harris

Serenberry Vineyards, Morganton

Shipping available; the vineyard is currently offering four tickets for complimentary flights for every full case purchased, and two tickets for every half case, to be redeemed in person when the tasting room reopens. Selections include Swan White ($19.95), with hints of green apple, and Railroad Red ($21.95), with mountain berry flavors.

Stonewall Creek Vineyards, Tiger 

Shipping and curbside pickup available; free shipping with three bottle minimum through April 30, but may be extended. Most popular: Petit Verdot ($40), an estate grown varietal aged 24 months in French oak.

Sweet Acre Farms Winery, Alto
