WHEN THE NEWS seems overwhelmingly bad, we’ve found a way to gain a little perspective—look for the helpers. Here are just a few organizations taking heartwarming measures to help our communities in this time of need.
MEALS BY GRACE
Provides food to children and families in need in Forsyth County using resources from the community and its own aquaponic farm. Donations are accepted at two pantry locations in Cumming. The organization also needs farm, pantry service and delivery volunteers in order to operate. Visit mealsbygrace.org for needed items or to sign up.
SERV INTERNATIONAL
