Taste of Ellijay

Event Details

Save the date for May 27th, 2021, when Gilmer will be having Taste of Ellijay! This event will be located on Broad Street in Downtown Ellijay from 6-8 pm. It will be a fun evening for local citizens and visitors to treat their taste buds to some of the local restaurants and food purveyors of Ellijay. You can sample various tasty treats from different places, so you can see what each has to offer. The samples vary from $1-$3. There will also be live music to enjoy while you catch up with a friendly face. This year, we are offering a new people’s choice award In honor of the Apple Festival’s 50th anniversary coming up. You can taste the different apple-themed dishes each vendor will offer, then vote on the best-tasting creation! It is fun for everyone of all ages and will introduce you to many new foods and places where you may find your new favorite place to dine.

We were unable to host Taste of Ellijay last year but are excited to have it this year with these new additions! There will also be Instagram filters for your stories and Facebook profile picture frames so you can take some fun pictures. If you follow @gilmerchamber on social media, there will also be some fun games regarding Taste of Ellijay for you to take a part in, so keep a lookout! It is an evening full of fun, so be sure to come by with a friend or neighbor on May 27th to get the true taste of Ellijay!
