All dealers will honor the Tellus member discount so members can save 10% off your purchase (minimum purchase may be required). • MINERAL IDENTIFICATION Bring your own geologic treasures and have them identified by Tellus experts. • ROCK KNAPPING Megan Kilgore, a 5th year anthropology PhD candidate at Emory University will provide a demonstration on how to make basic, Oldowan-style stone tools. • LAPIDARY DEMONSTRATIONS Watch cabochon and faceted gemstone demonstrations. • GEODE CRACKIN’ Purchase your own geode and have it cracked open to see what treasure you might find inside. • DOOR PRIZES RockFest dealers have provided door prizes to be given away every hour. • GRAND PRIZE Event guests can register to win a beautiful amethyst specimen to be given away at the end of the event. • KIDS ACTIVITIES Rock & Bead Necklaces – Use your artistic creativity and make a rock and bead necklace.
