Camp Elachee: Northeast Georgia’s Natural Playground

Written By: Bre Humphries

Get your kids off the couch and into the wild with Camp Elachee 2020 at the Elachee Nature Science Center in Gainesville. Registration is now open for a summer full of outdoor fun for pre-K through middle school-aged campers. Weeklong summer day camps are available June 1 through July 27 with themes including Mad Science Mayhem, Habitat Haven and Wilderness Survival, though all camps offer ample opportunities for kids to reconnect with nature at Elachee’s 1,440-acre woodland campus. Elachee also operates a Spring Break Day Camp April 6 through 10, though spots fill quickly. elachee.org
