GOOD TIDINGS CERAMICS

Written By: Bre Humphries

Acworth-based Good Tidings has been a local source for beauty and style since 2017, but in 2020, as the world sheltered in place, designer Silvia Saey recognized a longing for beauty and style that went beyond jewelry and accessories. The result was Good Tidings’ HOME collection, featuring candles, blankets, pillows and—our favorite—a line of ceramics crafted in conjunction with Saey’s neighbor and friend Kaylee Klewein of @cleanmodernmayhem. A local health coach who encourages easy, nourishing meals and sustainable living, Klewein naturally transferred her experience in the kitchen into dinnerware that is as uniquely functional as it is fashionable: multi-purpose bowls with measurement tables and easy-pour spouts, mugs with thumb rests, and extra-deep plates for serving nutrient-dense food. The earth-tone pieces are handmade by local artisan Maria Starr using durable glazed stoneware. As with all her product lines, Saey returns a large portion of proceeds to non-profits.
