The Georgia Mushroom Festival

Event Details

The Georgia Mushroom Festival is an annual educational event to acquaint the general public with the Kingdom of Fungi and the science of Mycology. We feature well-known speakers of mycology who will also lead forays in the park and the Pinhoti Trail near Cave Spring. Some of our vendors, mycologists, and growers will offer workshops and specialized classes. Our cool artisans and creative chefs are waiting to spoil your tongues.

Please come out and visit us. We’re located downtown in beautiful Rolater Park.

On Saturday morning, we will, again, feature a psilocybin discussion panel that includes professionals of the medical, mental health, and legal field, as well as local mycologists and friends. Updates this year will be on treatments for depression, PTSD, alcohol, and other addictions, as well as legalization.

The Saturday entertainment part of the Georgia Mushroom Festival is Magic Mushroom Music Jam and is taking place at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon at a location 4 miles out of town (across from Cedar Creek RV & Camping).
