The award-winning Elberton 12-County Fair will celebrate 89 seasons of family fun Oct. 13-23 with exciting midway rides and games, Banana Derby, Discovery White Tiger Exhibit, continuous live entertainment on two stages, Buttons the Clown, 4-H Small Livestock Barn, community exhibits, nightly prize drawings, vendors and favorite fair food. 
Highlights include The Voice of the 12-County Fair (7 pm Oct. 13,19,22), The Best Mullet Hair Contest (7:30 pm Oct. 18), and live music by Rocky Creek Band, RC Cowboy, the Chris Hampton Band, Scarlet Stitch, Lara Smith and Local Honey, Victoria Burns and more. 

Fair hours: 5-10 pm Monday – Thursday, 5-11 pm Friday, noon-11 pm Saturday, 2-10 pm Sunday 

The fair, which serves 10 counties in Northeast Georgia and 2 counties in South Carolina, is presented by the non-profit Elberton 12-County Fair Corp.

Fair admission: $5 (free for kids under 1 year old); free for seniors Thurs., Oct. 20 from 2-5 pm; $3 for kids 12 and younger both Saturdays from noon-5 pm (plus $20 ride wristbands)

Unlimited ride wristbands are regularly $30. Visit the website for details on BOGO wristband days and $25 wristband specials. Ride tickets are also available on the midway.
