Canoe Jewelry & Handbags

Written By: Bre Humphries

Blending rustic charm with contemporary sophistication, Blue Ridge-based Canoe offers just the right accessories to complete your look this holiday season. Local designer Lynn Kemp’s collection is inspired by the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains, with lots of earthy hues, animal prints and natural materials.

In the beginning, Kemp’s craft was just a hobby — making spirit bracelets for her son’s high school football games — but her business has since evolved into a highly successful vertical operation. The company now makes its own products, wholesales to hundreds of stores across the country, and operates three retail stores across North Georgia in Downtown Blue Ridge, Downtown Woodstock and Alpharetta’s Halcyon development.
